Swencraft is owned and operated by Eric Swendsrud.

While studying at Concordia College in the 1980's, Eric learned trim carpentry from his father. He received a B.A. in Mathematics and went on to start his own carpentry business in 1990. Eric later earned his Master's of Divinity from Bethel University in 2009.

When new home construction plummeted in 2007, Eric got his general contracting license. He and his brother, Jade, combined their skills to begin remodeling homes.

Eric's education and background has brought him ahead with his ability to organize, plan, and communicate. Being involved in every aspect of the process in transforming a client's home brings Eric immense joy.

A FAMILy LEGACY

Jade, Eric's brother, brings decades of experience to each job as the lead foreman. Brody has recently joined the Swencraft team as Jade's apprentice, learning the trade from his father, much like his father before him.

Michelle, Eric's wife and our Selection Specialist, can help coordinate your desired aesthetic or style with each project. She has exceptional skills in coloration and design.

Outside of the Swencraft family, our team includes outstanding licensed electricians, plumbers, custom cabinet makers, and HVAC technicians.

This is the initial consultation where Swencraft will meet and listen to the client's vision, goals and expectations for their project. We will ask questions and provide feedback to ensure a clear understanding of the project's scope.
In this phase, Swencraft will work with you to develop a plan based on the information collected during the consultation. We will develop a proposal that outlines the project's scope, timelines, and budget. his step ensures that everyone understands the goals and gives the project the greatest chance for success.
This is the stage where Swencraft will begin the actual work on the project, following the plan agreed upon in the previous phase. They will provide regular updates to the client and ensure that the project is progressing according to schedule and within budget.
In the final stage, Swencraft will conduct any final testing or quality assurance checks and make any necessary adjustments. Swencraft will also ensure that the client is satisfied with the final product and offer any necessary support to ensure a smooth transition. We are insured with a comprehensive liability policy and every project comes with a minimum one year warranty.
