About Us
Swencraft is owned and operated by Eric Swendsrud.
Eric learned trim carpentry from his dad back in the 80's while studying at Concordia College where he received his B.A. in Mathematics. He then attended Bethel University where he acquired his Masters of Divinity in 2009.
He started his own carpentry business in 1990. When new home construction nose dived around 2007, he and his brother Jade, teamed up and headed in a new direction. They took the many skills they learned from their dad and brought it into their new remodeling business.
Eric got his general contracting license and started remodeling people's homes.
It has been a joy for him to transform worn out homes.
Excellence and Professionalism
Swencraft started partnering with Joe Churchill in 2021. Eric and Joe oversee two crews.
Eric's brother Jade gets things done and oversees the day to day progress on every job. Jade's son Brody adds his passion for detail as he learns the tricks of the trade. Eric's wife Michelle is the Selection Specialist and adds her eye for design by helping you pick colors and materials that fit your style. You may meet a couple other handpicked professionals if our main crew is sick.
We work with only the best licensed electricians, plumbers, custom cabinetry, and HVAC crews. When we work in your home we will do the best we can to keep things clean, tidy, and livable throughout the duration of your project.
